The Newa Chen Historic Guest House (SEFSUD) is situated at 150 m distance form the Patan Durbar Square, in the heart of the ancient city. The XVII century house has been renovated in 2006 with care and passion by local craftsmen with extensive use and reuse of local materials, in the framework of UNESCO project for heritage preservation Newa Chen was identified as a gem among the house in Patan by UNESCO for its well preserved original structure and particular beauty. Currently manage as a social Enterprise by “Kam for Sud” to support youth and children in Nepal

My favourite place to stay in Nepal. The rooms are comfortable and authentic. Bed is so so comfy! There is some street noise, but the hotel provided us with ear plugs and that did the trick! I will definitely be coming back here
