We stayed 3 nights in this hostel, the room was big and clean, with hot water!!! The localisation is perfect and not noisy! The owner is nice and helpful. We just had some little problems with our laundry… I definitely recommend this place, and Patan is beautiful!

Myself and my boyfriend recently stayed in Durbar guest house for one night. We really enjoyed our stay, our room was HUGE! we had both hot and cold water which is great, and it’s only a 5 minute walk from the beautiful Durbar square itself.
The staff were also very helpful and allowed us to use their phone when we needed to call a friend.
I would definitely come back!

Durbar Guesthouse was one of my best experiences in Patan. It is located into an old mansion, traditional architecture, and has also rooftop terace with astonishing views over the old Patan. Om (the landlord) is very friendly, he helped me booking ticket to Chitwan, and offered me the family room when his guesthouse was full. I liked the place and came there even for the second time because it is a very good value for money. I strongly recommend this guesthouse if you want to get in touch with the real sense of the Nepali culture and get to know its people, exactly as they are.
